New Church Logo

When we knew that we would be having a website we though we should have a new church logo to go with it. After a number of great suggestions and submissions we have come up with what we thing is an outstanding logo. And here it is!

Our new Church logo by Dennis

Obviously we needed to incorporate the Name of Saint Thomas and we have done so using the cross as our shared “T”. The cross itself is a Celtic cross symbolizing our Anglican heritage. The colours represent the major liturgical seasons: green for ordinary time, red for Pentecost, White for Christmas and Easter, and Blue for Advent. All we are missing is the purple of Lent. Perhaps you have a suggestion as to where we can appropriately fit that in. The insignia in the lower left corner is the seal of the Diocese of New Westminster.

All honour and glory for this new design go to Dennis Young. In fact Dennis was such a tireless contributor, he also won the runner up prize. Congratulations Dennis! Please let us know what you think about our new logo.
